Tracy Light BA Hons (Marketing) CIM
Tracy’s marketing career spans almost twenty years. She has broad experience of many industry sectors including IT, travel, recruitment, retail and energy. Before setting up TJL Marketing in 2003, she held senior marketing positions, mostly in IT.
As TJL Marketing, Tracy has developed and implemented business, marketing and PR strategies for over 70 companies to date. Her work has included implementing change, mentoring start-ups and small businesses, building partnerships, marketing management, PR planning, branding, design, targeted lead generation, advertising campaigns, case studies, channel-related sales and marketing, online campaigns and e-commerce.
Tracy also runs popular new business workshops for both start ups and companies seeking to refresh their thinking.
Tracy is passionate about entrepreneurship, helping businesses to grow and offering flexible work opportunities.
Tiffany Thompson Advanced Certificate Marketing
Tiffany’s experience has been in a variety of marketing and event roles, in both agency and client environments working a great deal in the IT industry. Tiffany is a highly motivated, conscientious and ambitious professional with wide-ranging capabilities and an aptitude to help customers succeed and grow their business. Tiffany is a keen marketeer and an active member of The Chartered Institute of Marketing.
Frances Knox BA Hons (History / Politics), Diploma in International Public Relations
Frances has over 15 years’ experience in corporate and consumer public relations having worked extensively with brand leaders including Singapore Airlines, The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, Scottish & Newcastle Retail, Kodak, Twinings and Reed Exhibition Companies. She worked most recently for an independent public affairs and public relations consultancy where she held board level responsibilities. Her particular areas of expertise include:

Katy Turberville BSc Hons (Biology), Dip Marketing
Katy has over 15 years’ marketing experience gained with both large and small businesses, including a Swedish paper manufacturer and a fireworks company. Katy helps to plan and shape the level of support that TJL Marketing provides for small businesses. Her particular areas of expertise include:

- Small business mentoring
- Product management

- Sales development
- Customer communications
Kim Layzell
Kim is TJL’s team administrator and has wide experience of working in a number of different business environments. She has excellent organisational and administrative skills, a methodical approach, and excellent communication skills. Her proactive approach ensures that all projects receive effective and efficient administrative support.
Kim also has her own photography business and is TJL Marketing’s in-house photographer.
Karen Kennard BA Hons (Spanish), Dip Marketing
Karen has over 20 years’ marketing experience covering both strategic and tactical marketing activities for large multi national companies in the travel and hotel industries, the charity sector, and from running her own small businesses. Specific areas of expertise include:
- Corporate communications
- Third party promotions
- Customer retention programmes
- Corporate relations marketing with non-profit making organisations and corporate fundraising
- Online marketing including search engine optimisation
Sue French BA Hons (Marketing)
Sue has over 20 years’ sales and marketing experience, including four years as the Marketing Director of a BMI private hospital. Her experience also includes account management, sales promotion and business development roles. Her excellent communication skills enable her to create a good rapport with potential customers and to develop strong business relationships. Her particular areas of expertise include:

Eric Wilton Business Growth Specialist BA Hons, Dip DMMA (Direct Marketing)
Eric has considerable experience in marketing and management, derived from working in both client and consultancy organisations. He has a proven track record as a provider of effective business solutions. Eric has worked with many types and sizes of organisations, assisting them through the whole marketing life-cycle from strategic planning to promotional implementation. As an early e-practitioner, he has a keen appreciation of how 'new media' fits into effective marketing programmes.
